Pre-departure Checklist
Before leaving your country, please ensure that you have done the following:
Immigration Matters
- Obtained a valid passport.
- Checked with Singapore High Commission in your country regarding visa requirements for entry into Singapore.
Travelling Matters
- Completed your travel arrangements, using a reputable travel agency.
- Taken a physical examination and any immunizations required for travel and residence in Singapore as stipulated by the World Health Organisation (WHO) .
- If you wear glasses, get a prescription from your eye doctor.
- If you need regular medication, get an adequate initial supply and prescription from your doctor and bring any medical documentation you have access to.
- Bring along informal light clothing, bath towel and toiletries and other optional items such as alarm clock, slippers and camera.
Financial Matters
- Organised financial arrangements so that you have enough money to cover travel expenses and living costs on arrival.
