Getting to PGPR

Taxis in Singapore are plentiful, convenient, and reasonably priced. If this is your first time in Singapore, we recommend you take a taxi. Just flag down a taxi and ask to be driven to Prince George's Park Residences (PGPR). Taxis are metered and fares start from S$2.40. A list of possible additional surcharges can be found posted in the taxis. Tipping is not expected. Most taxi drivers speak English and Mandarin.

Getting to PGPR by Taxi

  • The taxi bays are just outside the Arrival Hall.
  • Fare to campus is approximately S$20.
  • For trips originating at the airport, there is a surcharge of S$3.00 - S$5.00.
  • Between midnight and 6 a.m. there is an additional surcharge of 50% of the fare shown on the meter.
  • Ask the taxi driver to take you to PGPR which is located off South Buona Vista Road next to King Edward VII Hall (behind the National University Hospital).
  • In case of confusion, please call the PGPR Management Office at 67796997.

Getting to PGPR by Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Train:

  • From Changi Airport MRT station, board the train going in the direction of Boon Lay (West line).
  • Alight at Clementi MRT station and turn left after the gates.
  • Take a 3 minute walk to the Clementi Bus Interchange, board Bus No 96 which brings you directly to campus. Alight after you enter NUS, board the Internal Shuttle Bus (A1 or A2) which will take you to PGPR.
  • Alternatively, alight at Buona Vista MRT Station (West line). Cross the overhead bridge towards Ministry of Education building and board Bus No 95 to campus. Alight after passing The National University Hospital , walk across the University carpark to the Science Faculty and board the Internal Shuttle Bus (A1 or A2) which will take you to PGPR.
