Exciting student mix
The program will be open to 2 students each from NUS's 9 International Alliance of Research Universities (IARU) partners, as well as one specially selected partner institution. This means eleven of the world's top universities will be involved.

 

Classes will be small (no more than 25 students in each) and will include students from Singapore and all of NUS' IARU partner universities.


The 15 NUS students in the program, will act as hosts as well as participants.

 

Rigorous and relevant modules
The two classes on offer this year are multi-disciplinary and taught by experienced faculty and guest lecturers.


Cyber Asia is a critical survey of new media in Asia.  New Media such as mobile phones, the internet, blogs, social networking, audio-visual sharing, gaming, etc. mark a major transformation in the way everyday life is organized.

Urban Asia is a critical survey of Asian urbanism, combining insights from history,socialogy, anthropology, architectural theory & critism, cultural studies.
   
  Credits too!
Each module is equivalent to four credits at NUS, and may be taken for credit, depending on the decision of the participating university. Grades may also be transferable.
