As one of the departments in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, the Department of Chinese Studies has full-time teaching staff who graduated from prestigious universities in different parts of the world. Our professors with distinguished teaching and research records had inspired more than 1000 students each year. They are dedicated to fostering collaborations across the world’s scholars in order to improving student’s learning experience with us.
Chinese Studies and Chinese Language are offered as two separate specialisations in the B.A. programme. The B.A. Honours programme in Chinese Studies is available to students who have read either Chinese Studies or Chinese Language as a single major.
