Occasional Papers Series

In 1982, a Publication Programme was initiated by the Department to promote research activities of staff members and foster academic interaction with scholars in the same discipline in other parts of the world.  One of the main items in the programme is to publish a series of occasional papers by staff members.  Staff members can write on any subject of their choice, be it in the realm of language, literature, history, philosophy or translation, and submit their scholarly works to the Department for publication.  Since 1982, 155 occasional papers have been published.
