Processes and Process-Orientation in Foreign Language Teaching and Learning
7 – 9 December 2006
@ Holiday Inn Atrium Singapore
The conference, organized by the Centre for Language Studies (CLS) of the National University of Singapore (NUS), has come to a successful conclusion. CLaSIC 2006 brought together academics, researchers and professionals from Asia and beyond for a productive and rewarding exchange of insights, experiences, views and perspectives on current and future developments in foreign language teaching and learning. The conference served as a platform for participants to report on current research and practices in foreign language education and related disciplines. It also provided an avenue for the discussion and critical examination of new and innovative concepts and approaches expected to have an impact on future practices.
The CLaSIC 2006 Organising Committee would like to thank all participants and presenters for their tremendous support of the conference and for their contributions which made CLaSIC 2006 a success. Special thanks go to the invited keynote speakers (please see below) whose lectures on the latest in their respective fields of research greatly enriched the conference.
