Social Programme

 

The ClaSIC 2012 Organising Committee has planned an attractive and varied social programme for the conference participants. Social activities include the official conference dinner on 7 December 2012 at PeraMakan restaurant and a half-day tour to Thian Hock Keng Temple, Jamae Chulia Mosque, Sri Mariaman Temple and Gardens by the bay on 8 December 2012. There are no charges for all registrants to participate in the tour and official conference dinner. If your partner and/or children who have not registered for the conference wish to join the social programme, they can do so with a little fee.

 

Conference dinner only: $65/person
Excursion trip only: $30/person
Conference dinner and excursion trip package: $90/person

Visit Thian Hock Keng Temple, Jamae Chulia Mosque, Sri Mariaman Temple (Guided tour is provided)

Thian Hock Keng Temple, translated as the Temple of Heavenly Happiness, is the most ancient and important Hoklo temple in Singapore.

Jamae Chulia Mosque was built in 1826 by the Chulias (Tamil Muslims from  Chola Kingdom of Tamil Nadu along the Coromandel Coast of Southern India, were among Singapore's earliest immigrants).
