Students who are eligible to read language modules are:

Students of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences:

• Students from the 2001 cohort onwards can read the language modules as part of their Unrestricted Electives outside of their major to fulfil their Faculty requirement.

• Students from the previous cohorts are eligible to read the language modules as Non-Major Electives.

• Students from the 2001 cohort onwards can read the language modules as part of their Breadth modules outside of their faculties.

• Students from the previous cohorts are eligible to read the language modules as Cross-Faculty Modules (CFM).

Postgraduate students will have to fill in an application form ( FASS-G185/02 ) and return it to FASS, Division of Research & Graduate Studies, AS7 Level 6. Students from non-FASS Faculties should use this form only if their respective faculties do not have a similar form.
