Congratulations ICM Class of 2004!

Commencement 2004 saw ICM reach a new milestone. 15 July 2004 was a red-letter day for the programme as a total of

  • 25 ICM majors were conferred a Bachelor of Arts (Merit) degree;
  • 26 ICM majors were conferred a Bachelor of Arts degree; and
  • 24 ICM students were conferred a Bachelor of Social
    Science (Honours) degree.

No less than three students obtained First Class Honours this year, unprecedented in the programme's five-year history. The three illustrious students were Mr Koi Eng Chew, Mr Desmond Loo Wei Yew and Ms Daphne Lim. Mr Koi was also awarded the programme's own Best Honours Student award. Mr Koi's achievement is made all the more notable by the fact as the father of two young sons, he had to balance schoolwork with family commitments.

After the commencement ceremony, the ICM graduates celebrated their success by posing for photographs in the foyer of the University Cultural Centre. ICM faculty including A/P Milagros Rivera (Coordinator), A/P Govindan Parayil, Dr Lim Sun Sun , Dr Chung Peichi and Mr Gui Kai Chong   posed with the students for our traditional commencement photograph. Everyone was in good spirits, catching up on old times and discussing future plans. A significant proportion of our graduates have already obtained full-time employment at a host of public and private sector corporations including the BluInc Media, IBM, Media Development Authority, Mediacorp, Mindef, NTU, Singapore Airlines.

Congratulations to all our graduates and do keep in touch as we always enjoy hearing from our alumni!
