Alfred holds a Master of Arts degree in Instructional Design and Technology from the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University. He is also a doctoral candidate of the communications and new media (CNM) programme. Alfred’s research interest is in ICT integration in blended instructional settings, affordances of ICT in pedagogy, E-learning instructional design, mobile technologies for instruction, and serious games for education. Prior to joining CNM, Alfred led ICT professional development workshops for the NUS faculty. In addition he supported the Air Force school as E-learning courseware judge in 2004 and 2005. Alfred also achieved valedictorian ranking in a Specialist Diploma E-learning Instructional Design programme at the NIE.
