Faculty Positions in Game/Visual Design

The Communications and New Media Programme at the National University of Singapore has openings for tenure track and non-tenure track positions as well as visiting appointments in the areas of game design, visual design, and user experience design. Candidates with masters’ degree and significant professional experience will be considered for non-tenure positions. A Ph.D. is required for tenure track and visiting positions.

Examples of courses offered in CNM are: NM2208 Introduction to visual design, NM3208 Designing Content for New Media, Game Design 1 and 2, NM3221 Situated Interaction Design, NM3222 Interactive Storytelling, NM3223 Digital Photography and Imaging, NM4205 Digital Media Project Management and NM4210 User Experience Design. Qualified candidates should submit:

(1)  Letter of application describing their teaching and research interests,
(2)  Curriculum vitae,
(3)  Three letters of recommendation. Referees must submit recommendation        letters directly to CNM. (Letters may be emailed as a PDF attachment) 
(4)  Sample written work  (Publications or creative works),
(5)  Course outlines of courses taught,
(6)  Copies of student evaluations of courses taught,
(7)  Transcripts of Masters and/or PhD degrees.

Applications are welcome anytime. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the positions are filled.
