Faculty Positions in Public Relations

The Communications and New Media Programme at the National University of Singapore is seeking several faculty members. Rank is open: assistant or associate professor. Candidates should hold a Ph.D., preferably in public relations or organizational communication, show a promising research program using social scientific methods related to communication, mass media or new media; develop curricula and be able to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in areas such as theories of communications, public relations and social marketing, strategic communication, issues management, campaigns, crisis management and evaluation and communication research methodology. Preference will be given to candidates who show evidence or promise in (1) effective teaching; (2) research productivity; and (3) obtaining external grant funding. ABDs may apply, but applicants should complete their Ph.D. before they start working at NUS.
