Proposed Thesis Title: Technology Integration in Pedagogy
Proposed Abstract: The need for pedagogically informed ways of teaching with computers has been gaining currency within educational circles in this decade. While the knowledge of teaching well with computers or technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPCK) is key in successful use of technology in teaching and learning, teacher professional development is still struggling with the theory and method to help educators develop TPCK skills. The focus of my thesis is to compare the results of two markedly different methods of technology integration and the findings is to inform teacher professional development.
