I joined CNM program in August of 2006, my research interest include journalism, corporate communications, new media in social and economic transition, capital markets and finance. Before I came to Singapore, I obtained a degree in Finance & Banking from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and working experience with Reuters and Merrill Lynch.

Tentative objective of the research is trying to test the effects of business news in the building of corporate reputation via empirical research. A research hypothesis will be examined: The more amount of news coverage of an issue, the higher likelihood that the public will describe the firm in terms of the issue. Business news of large corporations in different industry will be analyzed and communications theories will be employed to explain the findings.
