Application & Application Periods

Important:
The University has not engaged any external agencies to undertake graduate student recruitment on its behalf. Candidates interested in our graduate programmes are advised to apply directly to the University and not through any agents. Candidates who apply through agents will not have any added advantage in gaining admission and the University reserves the right to reject such applications without giving reasons.

Note:
In line with the NUS Resilience & Growth Initiative, we are extending applications for the following Masters coursework degree programmes for the August 2020 intake:

  • Master of Arts (Chinese Culture and Language)
  • Master of Arts (English Language and Linguistics)
  • Master of Arts (Literary Studies)
  • Master of Arts (Southeast Asian Studies)
  • Master of Economics
  • Master of Psychology (Clinical)
  • Master of Social Work

The application period is from 1 to 30 June 2020. This is for candidates who are/will be conferred the NUS bachelor’s degree in January 2020, June 2020, or August 2020. 

If you qualify and have already submitted your application earlier for the August 2020 intake, it is not necessary to submit another application. However, please contact the Faculty at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

We are sorry to inform you that candidates who do not qualify under these criteria but proceed to submit an application during the period will not be considered and will not receive any notification. 

The outcome will be made known by end July 2020. 


Application

Applications for admission to graduate coursework programmes, are available online as well as via paper. You are advised to apply online.

Please note that even though an application is submitted online, relevant supporting documents must be sent via post. In order for you to be considered for a specific intake, your online application, payment and available supporting documents must all reach us by the relevant deadlines. Application for each coursework programme must be accompanied by an application fee which is not refundable. Application fee for online or paper-based application is at S$50.00 (inclusive of GST).
