The following rooms will be open for self-study for students for the period starting from 20 April 2013 to 11 May 2013 :

The rooms will remain unlocked for use during the hours from 8am to 10pm, Mondays to Sundays and Public Holidays:

Air-conditioning hours are:

Monday to Friday : 7am to 9:30pm
Saturday: 8am to 6pm
No air-conditioning on Sunday

Advice and Queries

Departmental Academic Advisors

For problems related to major or minor modules and course work, how you are managing in tutorials and similar academic matters, refer to the academic staff at our Departments. In each Department, there are Advisors especially designated to help undergraduate students. The Advisors' names and contact numbers are on the Department website. You may also enquire at the Department's General Office.

NUS Student Counselling Centre

The NUS student counseling centre is set up as a complimentary service to undergraduates in NUS. FASS encourages our students to visit the counselling centre if you are facing difficulty in coping with any academic, emotional or psychological problems.

Special Programmes

The Special Term typically starts from early May to end July in an academic year. There are two sessions in the Special Term. Part 1 of the special term starts from 8 May 2017 to 17 June 2017 and part 2 starts from 19 June 2017 to 29 July 2017. During this time, FASS offers exciting modules and programmes for NUS students.

    1. Students may participate in any of the summer programmes so long as a maximum of 8MC are accumulated in each session of the special term. In view of the overlapping duration of the summer programmes, students are strongly advised to check for timetable clashes before registering for the modules. We look forward to your participation.
