The Department of Economics appoints a team of three to four staff members to carry out the ESU activities. Apart from the appointed team, the ESU seeks the service and expertise of other Economics staff members as and when necessary. Since the establishment of the ESU in 1981 more than 16 staff members have served in the ESU team directly.
