Master of Economics *

Important:  The University has not engaged any external agencies to undertake graduate student recruitment on its behalf.  Candidates interested in our graduate programmes are advised to apply directly to the University and not through any agents.  Candidates who apply through agents will not have any added advantage in gaining admission and the University reserves the right to reject such applications without giving reasons.

Inaccurate or false information or omission of material information or failure to submit the application fee will render your application invalid. The University reserves the right to reject applications that are incomplete or inaccurate.

There is only one intake in August each year for the Master of Economics. Applicants should declare their preferred track at the time of application, and also indicate whether they are willing to be considered for the other track. After students complete the first semester of their preferred track, they can apply for a transfer between the two tracks if they meet the requirements of the track which they wish to be transferred to. The Master of Economics Committee will consider their applications based on the students’ academic performance.

Applications for admission are available online as well as via paper. You are advised to apply online.
Please note that even though an application is submitted online, relevant supporting documents must be sent via post. In order for you to be considered for a specific intake, your online application, payment and available supporting documents must all reach us by the relevant deadlines.

The online application system will be available here during the application period (1 October to 15 January the following year). More information on the application procedures and supporting documents can be found here.

Application for the programme must be accompanied by an application fee of S$50.00 (inclusive of GST) which is not refundable.

The outcome of application will be made known by end May.
