David Higgitt
Associate Professor David Higgitt is Editor of the Journal of Geography in
Higher Education and a member of the editorial board of the Singapore Journal
of Tropical Geography. He is a member (and former newsletter editor) of the
British Geomorphological Research Group and the co-convenor of its Working
Group on Upland Sediment Budgets. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Geographical
Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) and a panel adjudicator for
the RGS-IBG Hong Kong Research Grants scheme. He is a member of the Faculty
Curriculum Review Committee. Within the department, Associate Professor Higgitt
is a member of the Teaching Evaluation Committee; Research/Teaching Strategies
Committee; co-Chair of the Research Strategy Sub-Committee; the Honours Year
Advisor; member of the Journal Classification Committee, and Laboratory and
Equipment Committee, and staff in charge of the Geo Lab. He is also a Faculty Ambassador.
