Associate Professor Tim Bunnell began a three year joint appointment with the Asia Research Institute (ARI) on 1 July 2009.

He is an Editorial Board member and Book Review Editor of the Singapore Journal of Tropical Geography and a member of the editorial boards of Geoforum, Pacific Affairs and Dialogues in Human Geography.

He is a member of the Steering Committee of ARI and of the Global Cities cluster in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

He is also a Research Associate of ARI’s Sustainable Cities cluster and part of the Department’s Critical Social/Cultural Geographies Research Group.

Within the Department, Dr Bunnell also serves as a member in the Research/Teaching Strategy Committee, the Research Strategy Sub-Committee, the Graduate Student Committee and the committee for Journal Classification. He is responsible for the Department virtual handbook 2009/2010.
