Associate Professor James Terry is on the editorial board of the journal South Pacific Studies published by Kagoshima University in Japan.

Within the Department, he is on the Teaching Strategy Sub-Committee and Undergraduate Curriculum.

He is also one of the staff in charge of the GeoLab and a member of the Journal Classification, as well as part of the Tropical Environments Research Group.
