Lily Kong
Professor Lily Kong is Vice President (University & Global Relations) and Director of the Asia Research Institute at NUS. She is Co-Editor of Social and Cultural Geography, and Commissioning Editor, Children’s Geographies.

She is a member of the Editorial Board of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences’ publication, The Creative Economy: International and Chinese Perspectives, and a member of the International Editorial Boards of Geographical Research, Material Religion, Asia Pacific Viewpoint, GeoJournal, Journal of Geographical Science, Geography of Religion and Belief Systems, Journal of Geography in Higher Education, Journal of Sociology, Landscape Research, Political Geography, Professional Geographer and Urban Geography.

She is also one of the series editors of Pacific Rim Geographies: Studies on Contemporary Culture, Environment, Cities and Development published by Routledge, and Co-Chief Editor of the ARI-Springer Asia Series.

Additionally, she is Book Series Advisor for the series titled The Politics of Popular Culture in Asia Pacific by University of Illinois Press and Hong Kong University Press.

Professor Kong is also a member of the following: Public Service Commission; Political Film Consultative Committee; Conservation Advisory Panel; ISEAS Board of Trustees; Advisory Board, Republic Polytechnic Centre for Culture and Communication; Scholarship Committee, Loke Cheng Kim Foundation; National Environment Agency Board, Preservation of Monuments Board, and Singapore International Foundation Board of Governors.

She is also Chair, Stamp Advisory Committee, IDA.
