Associate Professor T.C. Chang is the Assistant Dean (Alumni and External Relations) of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

He sits on the editorial boards of the Singapore Journal of Tropical Geography and Current Issues in Tourism (University of Victoria at Wellington, New Zealand).

Within the department, he is the overall coordinator of Undergraduate modules; chair of the Public Relations Committee and Teaching Strategy Sub-Committee; coordinator of the Geographical Society/Student Mentorship; and member of the Alumni Committee, and part of the Critical Social/Cultural Research Group.

At the faculty level, he is member of the Financial Aid, Bursary and Scholarship (FABS) Committee; member of the NUS High School Accreditation Committee; member of the NUS-University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) Joint Degree Programme Committee; Chair of the Faculty Teaching Excellence Committee.

At the university level, he is an Associate Director of the NUS Office of Alumni Relations; Member of the NUS Common Identity Task Force; and member of the NUS Festival Outreach Committee (for NUS Arts Festival 2009).
