The Health Research Cluster is an interdisciplinary research cluster, housed within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, at the National University of Singapore. It focuses on issues pertaining to the Health research genre around the world, in particular Asia.
Health research trends today encompass a wide spectrum of areas. Most of these are centred on the societal impact of health issues. With growing concerns regarding disease pandemics and post-disaster health risks, the impetus is on public administrations and non-governmental organizations to manage or even preempt health risks.
The Health Research Cluster aims to foster the interaction and integration of different perspectives to investigate these pressing issues, bringing together the expertise from the different fields of social sciences academia.
