Information Technology Unit (ITU) , or IT Unit in short, was formerly called the Centre for Information Technology and Applications (CITA). The IT Unit is made up of IT professionals seconded from Computer Centre and technical support officers in the Faculty. The unit is headed by an IT Coordinator, who is an academic staff appointed by the Dean, and jointly managed by the Faculty and the Computer Centre. |

To provide first line of IT service and support to ensure effective use of IT in teaching, learning, research and administration within the Faculty. |

To work synergistically with Computer Centre, Centre for Instructional Technology and peer IT Units to meet the diverse needs of staff and students within the Faculty. |
