POLICIES

FASS students from Cohort 2004 and after are to note that a minimum of 16 MC of the Minor must be graded and factered into the CAP.
All modules read in fulfillment of the Minor requirements should be graded. Modules taken on Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory basis cannot be counted towards the Minor requirements.
For students on overseas exchange, credit transfer of up to 8 MC of relevant modules for the Minor may be accepted. Please click here for more information on Student Exchange Programme.
Modules taken to satisfy major requirements cannot be used to contribute towards the Minor requirements at the same time. However, major modules taken in excess of graduation requirements may be used to fulfill the Minor requirements.



REQUIREMENTS

Students must read and pass a minimum of 6 modules (24 MC) from the list of Religious Minor modules, which include:

1. Essentials (8 MC)
(a) GEK1045 Introduction to World Religions and

(b) XD2101 Approaches to the Study of Religion
2. Electives (16 MC)
(a) At least one level-3000 module
(b) May not count more than two courses from each group towards the Minor requirements

Students are advised to study more than one religion (i.e. you do not take ALL your electives in courses focusing on just Buddhism or just Islam).
