Pass a minimum of 36 MC (9 modules) of EU,
EU recognised and French or German language modules,
which include:
(1) EU1101E Making of Contemporary Europe,
(2) at least 12MC (3 modules) level-3000 or higher level
EU or EU recognised modules (including French or German
language modules) , and
(3) 16 MC (4 modules) language modules†in either French
or German,
additional language modules cannot be used to fulfil EU requirements,

†Students who have prior knowledge of French or German
will be allowed to enroll for higher level language modules.
Placement tests will determine the appropriate starting
level for such students. Exemptions of 4 to 8 MCs (equivalent
to 1 to 2 modules) can be awarded under the following
circumstances:

of 4 MCs - Students who qualify for LA4202FR/LAF4202 Advanced
French II or LA4202GR/LAG4202 Advanced German II will
be granted an exemption of 4 MCs. They will be required
to read only 3 language modules:
