AY2008-2009:
Semester 2: Associate Professor Paul Buchanan, International Relations/Comparative Politics, was appointed Visiting Associate Professor from January to June 2009.
Semester 1: Professor Jack Donnelly, Andrew Mellon Professor of International Studies, University of Denver, was appointed Visiting Professor from August to December 2008. Professor Donnelly is widely recognized as a leading scholar in the field of international human rights.
Professor Chandran Kukathas, who holds the chair in political theory at the London School of Economics and Political Science, was appointed NUSS Professor and Visiting Professor in the Department of Political Science in August/September 2008. Prof Kukathas is one of the world’s leading scholars in the areas of political theory and multicultural politics.
