World Class Education
Study in an institution that is ranked among the best in the world. In the 2015 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings, FASS was ranked 13th in Arts and Humanities and 7th in Social Sciences. We also scored well when it came to subject rankings, with many of our subjects occupying a spot in the top 25.
At the Forefront of Globalised Research
What differentiates a university education is the opportunity to conduct your studies under lecturers who are active in their research and are published in world-renowned journals. This ensures that you are learning about the latest in your field and through your lecturers' experience. You might also have the opportunity to be part of a research project under the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Programme (UROP).
Here at FASS, we pride ourselves on having teachers that understand the needs of our students and are able to help them fulfil the best of their potential. Additionally, the Faculty is constantly putting in place new programmes that are designed to facilitate our students' learning experience and prepare them for their future. Examples of such programmes include Freshman Seminars and Writing Modules.
