Polytechnic Diploma

Polytechnic diploma holders admitted to either 3- or 4-year programmes will be granted advanced placement and exemption from relevant categories of modules as follows:

• 4 MC of General Education Module (GEM) from Science and Technology (Group A)

• 4 MC of Breadth Module

• 12 MC of Unrestricted Electives (outside Major)

This advanced placement of 20 MC is equivalent to one semester of advanced standing.

Transfer Students from Other Universities

Students who have completed modules prior to their transfer may be granted advanced placement and exemptions from these modules. Please email for clarifications.
