Advanced Placements and Exemptions

Polytechnic Diploma holders admitted to either a 3- or 4- year programme will be granted advanced placement and exemption from the relevant categories of modules :

•  4 MCs of GEM from Science & Technology

•  4 MCs of Breadth Module

•  12 MCs of Unrestricted Electives (outside Major)

This advanced placement of 20 MCs is equivalent to 1 semester.
