Adjunct Assistant Professor
Ph.D. (Hawaii), M.A. (Hawaii), B.A. (B.C., Canada)
I am very interested in what makes an average life better and what happens when people create for themselves the conditions to thrive. I am a social psychologist specializing in positive psychology. My interest started in graduate school and I wrote my doctoral dissertation on subjective wellbeing (happiness). I currently run a consulting business in the field of positive psychology and also teach Positive Psychology (PL4880G) at NUS. Before moving to Singapore, I was Assistant Professor at the University of Hawaii. I was born in Manitoba, Canada, and grew up in Hawaii, U.S.A.
