Ph.D. (California, Riverside), M.A. (California, Riverside), B.A. (summa cum laude) (California State Polytechnic University)
I joined the Psychology Department in August 2010 as a teaching track faculty. I completed my PhD work in University of California, Riverside, under the supervision of Dr. Christine Chiarello with projects using divided visual field paradigm to investigate the roles of the right hemisphere in new word and meaning acquisition in adults, and how this was modulated by the baseline reading comprehension skill and amount of experience with the new words.
