The FASS Mentorship Programme (FASSMP) was established in 2006 to provide a link between current students and FASS alumni. Providing guidance on life outside the classroom, established alumni and friends of FASS act as mentors to guide our students in charting a career path ahead. It is an enriching experience for both students and mentors as they share their knowledge and experiences and in the process, enhance their bonds as members of the FASS family.

The mentorship programme is a year-long programme starting from August each year to July of the following year. Our recommendations are:

• Minimum of 4 meetings, which may take the form of email exchanges, phone chats, tea/lunch chats, office visits , or some combination of these.
• Meetings could include advice on matters relating to a specific work sector, work and life outside the University, career path development, and matters relating to professional practices.
