Within CLS, she is also Convenor of the Thai language program. She is active in research in the area of Southeast Asian Historical Linguistics and Foreign Language Education (Focus: Teaching Thai as a Foreign Language). Besides papers in linguistics and a Thai language writing workbook, her publications also include books of poetry and translation. Her most recent publication is an edited book entitled “Foreign Language Teaching in Asia and Beyond” (co-editors: Dr Chan Wai Meng and Dr Chin Kwee Nyet). She is Associate Editor of e-FLT, the Electronic Journal of Foreign Language Learning.
