Effective January 2010, there will be only ONE intake for MA and PhD by research. The deadline to submit applications for the graduate research programme is 1 November each year.

The Department of Southeast Asian Studies is home to the Gamelan and Thai Music Musical Ensembles. The latter is featured in this YouTube video, playing alongside Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, who also gifted the Faculty with a marvellous set of Thai musical instruments.
