A warm welcome to all alumni of the Department of Southeast Asian Studies!
The Department of Southeast Asian Studies is a close-knit community where lecturers and students know each other pretty well. We hope that the close ties that we have with students will continue even as they graduate and go on to pursue various careers. This webpage is the main platform to keep alumni informed of our upcoming events and activities. We hope to build a strong alumni community and look to them for support and as a source of inspiration for our current students.
A rewarding experience to the department has always been keeping in touch with former students and watching the directions of their personal and professional growths. We hope that our alumni will also find keeping in touch with their peers as rewarding an experience as it has been for all of us at the department. We look forward to see a broadening network of SEAD alumni.
We also look forward to your participation at various University and departmental events such as Commencement Ceremonies, FASS Open House, Homecoming and so on and hope to for your generous support to our Endowment Fund in order to assist our undergraduates. This fund will allow them to afford an education as well as participate in various programmes such as the Semester-in-Southeast Asia exchange programme, language immersions, study trips to Southeast Asia as well as undertake fieldwork in the region for their Honours research projects.
We hope that you will join us in developing our alumni network and work towards fostering better relations with and providing opportunities for current students. We will be very happy to hear from you.
If you have recently changed your address or any other particulars, do update us with your latest information. This will allows us to keep in touch with you and keep you informed of our upcoming events.
Alternatively, you may send an e-mail to our alumni coordinators to update your contact details.
