Note:

  1. A student who wishes to register for SE5660/SE6660 must submit a duly completed agreement form together with a research proposal for the Head's approval.

  2. SE6770 is a compulsory module for MA and PhD (by research) students admitted from AY2004/2005 and will be graded as "Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory" based on student's presentation and class participation. This module is not open to coursework students.

For All Cohorts

Students may cross-enroll in not more than two graduate modules offered by other departments in the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences during their candidature, subject to the approval of the host department and Programme's Head. Please download and submit a duly completed form (FASS-G40/05) to the Programme's General Office.

For Cohort 2003/2004 and After

Language modules will not be allowed to be used to fulfill the graduation requirements of MA degree candidates.

For Cohort 2004/2005 and After

MA (by coursework): May take up to two level-4000 SE modules per candidature;
MA and PhD (by research): May take only one level-4000 SE module per candidature.
