Honours Programme

All honours students are required to take 8 Sociology modules in their Honours year. Students have the option of accessing either 4000 or 5000 level modules. Honours students with SJAP score of 4 and above and a minimum CAP of 3.5 qualify to do an Honours Thesis (SC4401) which constitutes 15 Modular Credits (equivalent to 3 modules). Students should approach the Department General Office to register for modules such as SC4401 and SC4660.
