Latest Development
In 2004, our department signed an agreement to promote
student exchanges with the Department of Sociology and
Social Policy, University of Nottingham (UK), within
the existing University level framework. Sociology in
Nottingham specializes in the following topics: occupations
and the professions; medical sociology and health policy;
gender relations; news media; consumer culture, citizenship;
poverty and social exclusion; comparative social policy;
and environmental policy.
