Bridge of Vision
"The idea of this Jubilee Bridge came from our founding father, Mr Lee Kuan Yew. During his visit to Marina Bay in 2004, he felt that the Esplanade Bridge was constricted. In conjunction to Singapore's Golden Jubilee, this bridge was built as a gift to commemorate this milestone in our nation building journey from a third world country to a first world nation. The Jubilee Bridge was opened a month in advance to allow the fellow Singaporeans to bid their last farewell to our founding father."
