STS General Cluster Meeting

A general cluster meeting was called to update members on recent activities and initiatives, and introduce Dr. Stewart Russell, Deputy Director of ISSTI at Edinburgh University, one of Europe’s most important STS research institutes.  ISSTI includes under its auspices the famous Science Studies Unit that spawned ‘The Edinburgh School’ of scholarship, and numerous other research groups interested in the science-technology-society relationship.  Various members of the cluster spent the better part of the day with Dr. Russell, briefly visiting Biopolis and well as the Kent Ridge Campus, and initiating what we hope will be a sustained relationship with ISSTI and Edinburgh.
