Dear FASS students, Happy New Year! I hope you had a good vacation are now fully recharged for the exciting new semester. If you’re a first-year student, do find the time to explore or “roam around”. You are in an institution that offers a vast landscape of opportunities for learning so review and make your choices carefully. As you progress through the semester, you might like to think about your study programme at FASS. | study programme that suits your passion and interests and fits in with your educational objectives. As you decide on your major, do consider the special programmes, such as the double-degree and joint-degree programmes, that the Faculty has designed for you. Alternatively, you may want to design and propose your own double-degree programme or you may choose to combine your major with a second major from within or without the Faculty for a single FASS degree. The Faculty works hard to ensure that your time at FASS is not only academically challenging and enriching, but prepares you well for the workplace. The FASS Internship Programme and the FASS Mentorship Programme put you in contact with Alumni who has a wealth of knowledge to share, while industry and career talks provide you with interesting insights. This is a precious resource available to you so do visit the Faculty’s website regularly for their announcements.
