FASS now offers some double and joint degrees in collaboration with overseas universities. Such programmes requiring students spend one or more semesters abroad, involve substantial additional costs. These bursaries are intended to make these degrees available to more students who are well suited to the programme but find the additional costs prohibitive.

Value of award
Up to S$25,000, for 4 semesters overseas. Amount will be reduced if the number of semesters overseas is less than four.

Disbursement In the beginning of the semester that the student will depart for the overseas university, through student's NUS account.

Eligibility
The bursary is available to FASS students who:
- are Singapore citizens or Permanent Residents;
- have made satisfactory progress towards completion of their academic programme;

are enrolled in the degree programme concerned;
- are currently on Tuition Fee Loan/ NUS study loan;
- otherwise cannot afford the programme;and
- shall not hold any other financial awards covering the overseas expenses.

Application Process
- Students are required to complete the online form.
- The completed online form
FASS45-06, together with the supporting documents, must be submitted personally to the Dean's Office at AS7 level 5, within the application period.
