The two documents below contain a general list and a discipline-specific list of qualitative and quantitative methodology modules across all FASS Departments/Programmes. The two lists were compiled to assist students who are interested in enhancing their research skills. Students who wish to pursue methodology modules outside their Departments/Programmes can do so by filling in form FASS-G51-09 (To Read Modules Offered by Another Department/Faculty on Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory Basis).
All research students admitted from Semester I, 2004-2005 should note that you are required to complete the Graduate Research Seminar (GRS) module which is discipline specific. The module covers research ethics and thesis writing skills. It provides a forum for students and faculty to share their research and to engage one another critically in discussion of their current research projects.
