Getting Your Message Across in
Today's Media Landscape

Overview

The media landscape today is different, and perhaps, more challenging. Organisations have to understand and work with digital and traditional media, as the media remains an important tool for organisations to influence public opinion and key stakeholders. This course will help participants communicate with and appeal to different media channels, by acquiring skillsets used by media specialists to inform, educate and persuade through clear and succinct writing.

 

Course Outline

  1. Understanding Singapore’s changing media landscape and new media consumption habits of audiences
  2. Understanding the media’s interests and goals
  3. Learning how to write for print and broadcast media, the web, public relations, and social media to meet their organisation's objectives

Who should attend?

Executives who wishes to deepen or broaden their skills in media engagement/ communication, with at least a Polytechnic diploma and proficiency in English.
